Each contestant will receive a live broadcast quality DVD of their performance along with an invaluable "How-To Package" of information explaining the A-Z's to enhance their career along with a one-of-a-kind photography shoot of their performance.  These packages are more than $5,000 in retail value.  This never before offered information was written by many World Renown Entertainers and business men in the music industry to help boost your career.

Grand Prize winner will receive the above mentioned package along with a "10 Song Recording Contract" to be recorded in Nashville, Tn.

 
Rules

1. ENTRY PROCEDURE:

You must complete a CONTEST ENTRY FORM and return it to the address below along with your registration fee, a photograph (headshot - 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10) and a CD with the Karaoke Tracks to the song you want to sing OR the name of the song, the artist that did the song and the key you sing it in before the March 1, 2008.

2. DISPUTES:

If you have a valid complaint, contact us, via e-mail and we'll present it to our board of directors.  Phone calls will not be accepted.


3. PERFORMANCE: The following applies to any Showcase:

A. Each act entered in the Showcase must perform only the song listed on their Entry Form.  No personnel changes or substitutions will be permitted once competition has begun. Once an individual withdraws from an act at any level of the Showcase, he/she cannot perform at the next level.
B. A House Band for acts will be provided OR you must provide a CD with the Karaoke tracks with original entry form.
 
C. Neither the backup band nor any of its members are permitted to compete in the Showcase in which they are the backup band.
 
D. Each act must perform live, vocally. No special lighting, props or special effects may be used.

E. The amount or performance time given to each contestant can not exceed 7 minutes.

F. All performances must be done in good taste and must be held in the highest standard of the "God and Country Theatre".

G.  Contestants must perform songs heard on the radio today or in the past.  No original songs will be allowed. 

H. Performances will be awarded 0-10 points in each of the following categories: 1) Marketability in Country Music; 2) Vocal ability; 3) Originality; 4) Stage presence: 5) Overall talent. 

I. In the event of a tie, winner will be chosen by audience applause.


4. PROMOTIONAL AUTHORIZATION:

By submitting an Entry Form, the contestant grants to "BCMS" the right to utilize their name, likeness, image, voice, appearance, and performance in perpetuity worldwide for advertising, trade or any other lawful promotional purposes whatsoever, in any and all media now known or thereafter developed, without compensation. I grant "BCMS" and its affiliates the right to broadcast, market, sell and otherwise distribute my name, image, likeness, voice, appearance and performance, either in whole or in parts for commercial, non-commercial television, close-circuit exhibition, home video distribution, internet, or any other purpose "BCMS" and its affiliates, in their sole discretion may determine. I hereby give all clearance, copyright or otherwise, for the use of my name, likeness, image, voice, appearance embodied in my performance/state presentation. If under 18 years of age, parent or guardian must sign the entry form.

5. ASSUMPTION OF RISK:

By submitting this entry form, the act assumes all risks of property damage or bodily injury (including death) that might occur during the events. The act agrees not to bring against "BCMS" or other national sponsors any claim for property damage or bodily injury (including death) that might occur during events.

6. GOOD CHARACTER:

The contestant agrees that they may be disqualified immediately from any level of Showcase competition if the act commits any act or becomes involved in any situation that would adversely reflect on the Showcase or any party furnishing a prize, or tend to bring it into public disrepute.

7. ELIGIBILITY:
Submit any questions regarding eligibility to "BCMS" by clicking the contact button to the left.

A. I have not performed on a record listed in Billboard, Radio and Records, or the Gavin Report within eighteen months preceding local competition.

B. I have paid the registration fee in full before performing live at the Showcase.

C. I am not part of the backup band nor am I related to any member of the backup band by birth or marriage nor have I performed with the local backup band or any member of the local backup band for monetary compensation within the past 18 months.

D. I am not an owner, controlling stockholder or employee of and I am not related by birth or marriage, nor do I live in the same household as the Showcase judge, the sponsors, "BCMS" (or any national sponsor), God and Country theatre, or any employee, controlling stockholder, owner, officer or agent of any of the foregoing parties.

E. I have not already been declared a winner of a previous Showcase and eligible for competition.

F. I have never been a previous winner, either as an individual or as part of a group Showcase.
